Are you talking about this Maya 4:3 skin? If yes, why are you using 1080x756? Maya is made in 1366x768, so it is most convenient to use 1024x768, isn't it?

I haven't changed the vertical placement of anything ... not yet. With the large-font version the line spacing is a little close on some items .. I might make some slight changes.
In Last.FM, I may make some other changes for my personal version. The playlist is not usable in how we use Last.FM at my house...
I need the whole playlist visible at all times for real-time interaction from across the room by several persons when we are entertaining guests. I may move the buttons out of the way and display the full playlist. and navigate left or right to activate the buttons when in the playlist, so we can cycle to top or bottom quickly for selection.... Something for me to think about, as it deviates from the original design.

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
