Changes include:
Added volume bar and mute image in full screen tv
navigation via keyboard now easier in myPrograms
added xml pages for myStocks and myTrailers plugins

please note that for myTrailers, you need to download plugin the plugin and install all the files, including the strings.xml. more info in this thread:

I haven't been able to get the TV Guide working in the two 720p skins from Boilermaker, I just get a black screen basically (not that it crashes or anything: there's just no guide there).

Any ideas?

I think the regular skin is a bit too crammed and too big so a higher res one would be nice but without the TV guide it's hard to decide.

UndaC, which version of mp are you using (and if you are updating it with cvs versions, let me know which one) and which version of the skin?

I was going to update the skin for the cvs versions thru this weekend, if you are updating regularly with the cvs. if you are using .2rc1 with no cvs versions, the link in the last post should work ok, but i'll take another look at it to be sure. If you you are using versions earlier than .2rc1 (i.e. mp .1.3 or earlier), i don't believe there is a compatable version on the ftp server for download.

I've basically stayed up to date with the CVS builds for a few months.
The version of the skind I've tried is both the "stable" and the one in the CSV folder.

I tested it with the first 11-28 cvs release, and the tvguide was working. I don't know about the web browser plugin, that won't work on my htpc with any skin, even the default ones. It's probably a good idea to erase the entire mce1280x720 directory and replacing it, a few media files have shifted location. Hopefully this will work for you, if it doesn't please let me know and I'll do what I can to fix it.

Thanks, works like a charm now.

Though my TV guide lost all it's entries for today. (If I browse forward I can see that the ones for tomorrow are all there though so hopefully it'll "catch up" again by tomorrow)

I noticed one thing pretty much immediately:
When chaning channels the info bar that pops up in the lower end of the screen is a bit goofy:
first the blue "background" fades out and then the text behind it fades out.
(ie the text is left "behind" a little while, just a second or so, still it looks very strange)

if my description is too fuzzy just let me know and I'll post two screenshots to show what I mean

I think I understand your description, I just couldn't duplicate it. Would you mind posting screenshots? Also, what is your video card, tv card, video codec and renderer settings for TV, and do you have FFDShow enabled? I'm assuming the issue doesn't happen on another skin, but let me know if it does. That would point to a hardware or mp install issue. I might also be able to test the skin with your settings, these are my current settings where things seem to be working:

Video Card: Nvidia 6600GT
Tuner: Hauppauge PVR500
Coded: Mpeg2Dec
Renderer: VMR9 Renderless
No FFDShow.

I'm also using a keyboard and mouse to navigate mp, someday i'll get around to programming a remote.

For whatever reason it cannot be captured or else my timing is just plain horrible.

to be more specific:
the blue backgrouund dissapears but the text that says NEXT to the left and todays date on the right stays a second

it doesn't do that in any of the other skins
