Apparently it could be an issue with Comodo. I have tried disabling Comodo but it doesn't seem to work...

An uninstall would probably fix it but I'd rather not do that. There has to be another way to get MP going!

When I try to update from 1.0.0.0 I get the following Error.

Microsoft.net Framework 2.0 is installed But Service Pack 2 is a requirement for Mediaportal Unpacker.
Installation will be cancelled.

I'm on Service Pack 3 so what do I do now?

They're talking about .net Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2, not Windows XP Service Pack 2.

You can download it here.
Download details: .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2

I have the same error in installation but i am on vista therefore unable to install any update for .net framework. SP2 update for .net framework is not compatible with vista

For all those having errors installing. I've recently noticed, outside MePo, that the .NET 3.5 SP1 has problems installing. Most of it seems to be around it not being able to uninstall .NET 2.0 (as it installs a totally new version 2.0a). Most of the time I've got around it by forcing an uninstall, or at worst, by using Revo uninstaller to remove it, then cleaning the registry.

Hopefully that might put a few people back on track.

    Great release guys!

I've just updated my mp 1.0 installation on windows xp pro sp3.

Version 1.0.1 is a great improvement over 1.0 regarding speed (menus, zapping...) and even tv flickering on my 690G chipset with VMR9 is finally gone. :)

    Thumbs up!

    No more subtitles after upgrade

Just upgraded to 1.0.1 and upgraded streamedMP to latest version. But now my subtitles aren't working anymore?? Both external and internal (.mkv container) aren't working. Subs are enabled in MP but they are not displaying? I am using the SAF filter pack from this forum and also upgraded this to the latest version but no succes? Anyone else have this problem?
