Actually it is a bug - our default settings connt be such that they require some 3rd party plugins to be installed.
    Yes and no :D
It does not depend on 3rd party plugin (in this case FanartHandler), bt supports it.
My fault was that i shipped the skinsettings.xml with this option activated - should be deactivated by default ;)

    Please mantis and fix ;)

It is not missing. If you want to see it again, open the settings in GUI, go to Skin settings, and deactivate "Video Fanart on BasicHome" ;)
    No logs needed ;)
I assume you don´t use Fanart Handler?

Thanks Catavolt. However, having read this, I loaded up the MP Configuration utility to fix it. I went to the GUI section, and clicked on the button for skin settings for default wide. The only options in there, are default or 11 line TV guide. I was about to post some screen shots to say that the option doesn't exist, but then I realized that maybe you were referring to going there within MP.

Sure enough, the option is there within MP GUI settings, and I have my nice theatre seating image back. Shouldn't this setting also be exposed to the skin settings tab within the config utility?

It's odd that it's only available one way and not the other.

    Thanks
    Brad

Hi @x4mer, this is a skin internal setting, so it can´t be exposed in the standalone MP Config ;)
The skin internal settings allow us a lot of different settings (e.g. different numbers of lines in TV EPG etc.) which can´t be covered in MP Config ;)

Have installed 1.4 with no problems - but have noticed one "issue". Under 1.4 if the MP resumes by itself (either to record something or for EPG grabbing) then if I turn the TV on I have no picture - I need to use a keyboard or mouse to kick the screen display into life. If I turn the PC on myself in order to watch something, then no problem, the screen is active. Under 1.3 (and all previous) this was never an issue.

    Any suggestions?

Note, Windows power plan is set to never turn either the PC or the display off.

Debug logs please if this is 100% reproducable..
