Ahhh, right - that could definitely explain the corrupted files.I don't know if this is relevant but I took my pc to work with me to try and fix the tv series db issue and in the process of starting it up we found we had an issue with the ram not seated properly and all sorts of things were not working.
After I reseated the ram everything was working properly except for the TVserver configuration!
Do you think that could have caused the issue?
Yes, that is probably the safest option. Any program that was running could have had files corrupted.I guess the answer to my problem is to do a full uninstall and reinstall![]()
The other option if you just want to get TV Server working quickly is to check the TvLibrary.Utils.dll file as previously suggested.
1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. Navigate to the TV Server install folder (typically c:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server).
3. Check that TvLibrary.Utils.dll file exists; check and report the size; also try right click + properties. Basically, try to check if the DLL is okay. Check size and health of other DLLs and exe files as well. I can't give specific instructions; need to use your instincts and possibly compare with the proper file sizes to confirm everything is okay.
