I generated three log files for you. The first one is from svn 25035.
I am starting two MKV-files. The first one is DXVA compliant and plays fine. The second MKV is not compliant and Mediaportal won't play it. I also included the evr.log.

The second log file is with the core.dll from 24975. (just copied over).
I am playing the same two MKV files. Both play fine. I hope that helps. If you need more/other log files just tell me.

Can you put debug mode on for logging at config tool. There is extra info e.g. for graph building logged that way. And this is general rule when posting logs - default info level is not enough for problem solving. Thx.

Turned debug mode on. Now you can see it clearly that Mediaportal fails to connect with the second video file.

The second log was done with the core.dll from svn 24975. All works well there.

I get crashes with MP since aprox 2 SVNs when browsing myfilms plugin with logos/fanart showing. Nothing special in the log before than the attached error.
I know, that you are NOT dealing with plugins here, just asking if this is related to the changes in the core handling and the question, if this must be fixed in MePo or do I have to contact zebons /myfilms author to fix this error?

will there be a next official SVN release for all, for testing the last fixes?

I hope so... as, for me, this 'last' SVN is less stable than v1.0.2....

I hope so... as, for me, this 'last' SVN is less stable than v1.0.2....

You have only reported one problem, and this was fixed in internal testing earlier today. Give the team a chance and a break!

Any more posts in the SVN thread requesting information or discussing anything other than bug reports with this SVN will be deleted.

Is ffdshow Video Decoder for MPEG2 with TsReader still blacklisted? If so, why can I select it in the dropdown for TV codecs in Configuration? If not, on my PC they won't connect.

Hi,

As a test, I can select ffdshow for MPEG2 for TV, and TV works. I don't know if they are blacklisted. It may be that some combinations of codecs do not work. I would try ffdshow for MPEG2 with various audio codecs, and see if any combinations work.

Failing that, I would say that this: Codecs, External Players - MediaPortal Forum is the correct part of the forum to discuss such issues, since this thread is for issues related to this SVN. I did a quick search of the forums and couldn't find anything of help.

hi!

i don't know, if it is a bug, or something else, but i thought i post my logs.
all hd channels ware shuttering on my mutliseat combination. some channels more, some channels less...
as codec i use saf 4.00 rc1
