I still have the same bugs as with the last build:
* After returning from Standby/Hibernation I get a black screen and Mediaportal seems to freeze
* Stuttering video during channel change

I already made bug reports.
Lucky me I made a backup (svn from 23.1.09). Copied it over and the problems I described are not present anymore... the last svn was very stressful for me.

Zapping has decreased compared to 1.0 final.
Channel change is slower (1.5 compared to 3 seconds) and drawing the screen black during change does not improve zapping experience cause you although get a still/stuttering picture for a moment after the black screen disappears.

Ok thanks for the new SVN, I am trying to resolve the same issue from the previous SVN around DirectX when using an older Dell D600 laptop - please note that in MP 1.00 final all was/is fine, can anyone tell me why the requiremnt have change in a x.x1 update ?

Those requirement (as said in other thread) it's very old & nothing new. What stops you now it's most likely a bug fix (flickering issues with ATI) & don't think it wil be reverted(but i don't know ).....

I do understand what you are saying but I am sure you can see why I dont want to have to buy a new hardware rig when 1.0 is/was working fine for me, anyway I have resolved the issue above and now return to the problem of MP running on the TV yet launches all video playback on the computer rather than on the TV itself - other than that everything is working.

Attached a new clean set of logs 1) removed old historic logs 2) started TV service 3) launched MP and started to play a recorded TV video 4) stopped video 5) closed MP

Please note that all other aspects seem fine at preset, just need to resolve why MP is playing video in a seperate window for me.

Do you get any other error messages @ all (logs doesn't & not event log either)?

Yes Roy is the "CSScriptLibrary.dll" error and no i don't have any other error beside that.I've checked the logs too,but the only error log i've found in the Log folder is the configuration.log.

Try to replace the one in MP root folder with the one attached to this post (they should be identical, but who knows if something has gone bad).
If it doesn't help, try Dependency Walker & check whats missing for CSScriptLibrary.dll..

Roy it seems that the installer failed to install several files (CSScriptLibrary.dll,defaultVideoViews,defaultMusicViews,Interop.iTunesLib.dll) and even folders (musicplayer\plugins\dsp).I'm still testing what files or folders are still missing right know but at least now we know that something went wrong with the installer.

TVPlugin it's the old version, did you run Tv-server setup(even in client only) to install updated version of TVPlugin?

With this build, STILL no proper working screensaver. The screen gets blanked but is not send into standby.
I cannot express enough how annoying this is beacuse I use a 30 inch panel from Dell with build in usb ports, wich i use for remote and keyboard receivers. So when I have to power off the screen by pushing the on/off button on the monitor itself it also disables the usbports.

Please reïnstall this feature or mark it as a BUG in the BUG thread.

The whole story got introduced with this refresh thing for smooth movie playback.

And I have problems recovering from the installation. Get errors when trying to configure in the old Mediaportal installation...
...need a clean 1.0 client install to recover from it...
