When i press the next/prev channel the screen blacks out.
after a second or so the last tv-image comes back and after that nothing at all.

Just to let you guys know I've not seen this problem 0001367: Wrong LCN value in channel scan - MediaPortal Bugtracker in the recent SVNs. I've rescanned on 3 or 4 occasions and the LCNs have always been correct.

Run the MP Logs Collector (in the start menu), then re produce this behaviour, and exit MP. Then you can create a ZIP file full of logs that are useful for the developers!

check his previous post and you will see that he had already posted logs

Though a short description what went wrong with which steps taken is always helpful.

slower channel change!!!

Hi,

unlike others, I am experiencing significant slower channel changes on my DVB-S cards....allthough apart from that everything is working. After Channel change, screen goes black with sound of current channel still there. After 4-5 secs the new picture and sound appear. (Before 2-3 secs)

Update: seems I have a problem with the Skystar2HD card. it does not find any channels. As this one was prio 1, TV server always tried to tune with this card and on failure went to the Hauppauge, which obviously then took longer to change channel.
Still working on the Skystar problem.

Update 2: reverted to older driver for Technisat TV card (1.0.0.402).
Now everything works.
Faster zapping can however still not be observed...

Note:
This build has the Zapping, RTSP improvements from Ambass which many already has tested & found great.
To get a even more feedback we have added it to SVN so you all can help us, so if bugs are found logs are required!

GREAT!!! Very good move to implement this improvement like this.

Can I suggest we do next the same with the MPC-HC subtitle engine from cpp2005 ??? It works perfectly! It realy improves the present subtitle function.

Advantage is subtitle support in any situation while still enabling DXVA. PLUS an option to sync subs while playing and saving the settings afterward.

Just a thought.

Second that, the MPC subtitles are really really good and well tested.

I had some problems with RTSP improvements and auto refresh rate as well playing recordings and other files. I will test this svn and see if this still is the case (then trying to collect logs).

Similiar problem here.
Screens blacks and the last tv-image follows. It took some time until the new channel is visible.
Here with EVR (Vista) not so extreme as on my XP HTPC

OK I've everytime problems switching from german "ZDF" to german "VOX". Everytime i try that i see the old ZDF EPG and then ZDF is stuttering or runs in an loop and VOX never comes up. Logs attached - in this test i also had to switch two times from RTL to ZDF before switching to ZDF was successful.
