TV doesn't work for me anymore with this build. I have an analogue card (Hauppage). I get a "failed to start timeshift / unknown error". Related to the removal of the .mpg format from TV perhaps?

"Ghost" pictures on ArteHD

Hello,

I experience a strange behavior on ArteHD in this SVN.

1. Launch MP and tune to ArteHD -> view is OK
2. Tune to another channel.
3. Tune back to ArteHD -> colored overlays can be seen (screenshot attached)

The problem seems to be limited to ArteHD. I did not observe the behavior on AnixeHD or EinsFestival HD.

pdgmux.ax is in the mp directory!
I did that to solve this issue.
But went back to 1.0 because of other problems

I have a focus issue - on start MP loses focus. It's been there for the last couple of SVNs.
Any ideas?
(I really don't want to select the 'always on top' - cos that causes me other issues for remote controlling the PC)

Same here. I already posted this a few SVNs ago.
It sometimes happens if MP is started in fullscreen and "stay on top" is not enabled.
Seems not to occur when MP is started on boot process.

Well, as I didn't have any codec issues before installing this SVN, the installer must have uninstalled it/not properly re-installed it, so it's fair to report this here anyway.

I'll try the fix mentioned right after your post, hopefully that'll solve my issues.

Hi, I've just tried to update from an earlier SVN. The client installed and worked fine with the earlier TV server, but when I updated the TVserver it crashed during install (literally an app crash with TVService.exe). Logs are pretty much empty:

EDIT: No worries, my server was messed up in all sorts of ways. It's now installed fine.

When I go into My Plugins, My Extensions I get a List Loading Error.

I can go past this message but do not get any information accessing the different headings.

I completed a search, but did not find any relevant posts.

BTW, I had te reset all of my Codecs with this SVN, had defaulted to the first one on the list.

Another issue when I set the TV aspect ratio it keeps defaulting back to Non-Linear stretch, doesn't matter what I set it on.

External Player

Before issuing an observation with the new svn, I would like to check if this is really a bug or a feature:

In case you have selected an external player for the videos, is it by intention that the same player is also used for the TV-Client playback? (As it is currently done)
