From this SVN "External Display" plugin is substituted by "CybrMageDisplay" plugin.

Many drivers are again working now and also some new features are slipped in, "music equalizer" on top.

Enjoy and report bug using guideline please.

Where is the music equalizer ? .... I've looked for it but have not found it.

Which driver you have configured in the plugin ? Not all have this feature enabled yet and some won't ever because they don't support special chars.

Ah.... I think I misunderstood ... I took your notice to mean a graphic equalizer for AUDIO, not a music equalizer DISPLAY. I'm not using the plug-in.

I should pay more attention.

Hello all!
With this svn snapshot I see a confusing thing: in MediaPortal Configuration -> plugins under "Window Plugins" ther are 2x My TV and 2x My Radio. In plain RC3 the My Tv and My Radio where 1x in the "Window Plugins" section and 1x in "Process plugin" section. It was that changed intentionally, because is confusing.

After installing the new SVR, the HD-PVR's now show up, but as 'Unknown' tuners. If I copy the latest driver from [URL="https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/general-talk-233/initial-support-hauppuage-hd-pvr-45382/']here[/URL] they show up correctly (but only one works, Garry is working on multiple tuners.)

Also, should we be able to stop live tv while viewing? I have to go back to the Start menu to be able to stop live TV.

CyberDisplay Plugin

Hello, the driver for the Fujitsu-Siemens SCALEO EV in the new plugin "CyberDisplay" disappeared, you know someone who driver should I use for the SCALEO EV now? I have tested with the Futaba, because it is supposed to be Futaba, but it does not work.

By the way, if I have the two External Display Plugins enabled, MP crashes, which enable a single, but I can not use the new Plugin because they do not use that driver.

Help Please!!!

Please don't use two plugins for the same function as those two ("CybrDisplay" & "ExternalDisplay") are mutually exclusive.

TV Service shutdown when starting a Video.

Well very nice release.
However if I am watching TV then decide to start a Video then TV shutdown (normal). However it is the full TV Service that shut down.
If I 1st put OFF the TV and then start Video, the problem happens less but still there.

Multi CAM problems

Hi guys,

I was still using RC1 with SVN 2008-07-04 and enjoy it very much, being a very stable combination.
A big thanks to all developers of MP !

Then I did buy a new CAM that should be able to decode more than 2 channels on 1 transponder. I did not get it to work.
I saw you made some changes to the CAM part so I upgraded to this latest RC3 and this first SVN in the hope that It would work, but it does not.

I now use:
OS : XP Prof SP3
MP : MP RC3 SVN 2008-10-17
Card : Digital everywhere DVB-S2
CAM : Aston Dual and Powercam Pro

Using FireDTV viewer, both CAMs work fine, audio and video are descrambled and are perfect. So my system is ok.
Also my Aston works fine for months when descrambling 2 channels at the same time in my previous MP install, so my MP settings are 100% ok.

With PowerCamPro I start to preview a scrambled channel from within the "TV server configuration/TV channels" menu and it does not respond anymore. I have to kill the application. With the Aston it works perfectly.

Then I did 2 identical tests, one with the Aston, one with the PowerCAm Pro

From the "MP client-TV guide" I manually start 2 recordings on 2 scrambled channels on the same transponder and stop again.
Between the tests I started FireDtv to check for hangups : was ok.

Both tests initially seem ok, "TV server configuration- manual control" screen, shows both channels : Scrambled : no.
Both tests give 2 files in Recorded TV .
The difference :
- The Aston works perfect and descrambles 2 channels simultaneous and I can view the recordings.
- The PowerCam recordings are empty ( 0 Kb )

See logs : I hope you can help me.

HDHomeRun not working

With RC3 HDHomeRun has ceased to work. and folks (myself included) have had to roll back to RC2+SVN#20227. There is a thread on this here:

As an HDHomeRun user, I'm not sure what I can contribute to make it work again?

I had posted a report in the TV Server bug reports section about this issue from RC2 last 2 SVNs and RC3

I'm sure the devs are looking into it.

as long as TV Server RC2 (TV-Server Version: 1.0 rc 2 svn-09-14-2008--15-54-Rev20227) works with MP RC3, I can wait.
