MePo-Green for 0_2_1_0 (12 Viewers)

I have six weeks of Summer holidays staring now so I don't expect to be 'round much. I find MePo to be sluggish now all the animated .PNG files are in. Getting back to the main home menu is a chore. It seemed that static MePo's made for a more dynamic skin. Does anyone else agree that it's markedly slower now?

The transition back to the home page is slow but not unbearably so, the blank screen can be disconcerting making you wonder if MP has crashed, just wonder if the rotating swirl effect would make it seem faster. Mepo green is my everyday screen, and I think the work you have done is of the first grade. I have a couple of issues in the now playing screen but I think this is more to do with the program than the skin. Sometimes I am able to add from the suggested tracks on the left other times not, no apparent reason.

Anyway the point of this post was to agree with you about the speed of return to the main screen whilst at the same time offering my admiration at your skill.

Enjoy your time off! I'm sure it's much deserved. I always have a hard time trying to decide which of the 3 16:9 skins to use

I wanted to agree that the speed of getting back to the Home Screen is slower with animations, and my setup is decently beefy.

For me the return to the home is slow too but this is a MP problem

I haven't noticed any additional slowdown on returning to the MP home screen because of the animations. For me, changing screens in MP has always been a bit laggy, no matter what skin or configuration I have, but seeing the wonderful animations in your MePo skins make it worth the waiting time.

I noticed that, sometimes, going back to home screen from mytv hang up mp for a little bit than it go back to my tv without the possibility to return home. So I have to close mp and re-run. This evening I'll try with blue two and see if it's a skin problem.

Moreover, I love mepo!

The 0.2.1.0 version only works on 0.2.1.0 obviously...
For the other version you need 0.2.1.0 + the latest SVN.

dosent quite follow you. I have installed 0.2.1.0 and the only SVN i can find is called "MediaPortal_SVN-Snaps_based_on_V0.2.0.0_Release"

Can i install this or are there others that i just cant find?
