Ah, sure, this one. Yes, it is connected.

This afternoon i tested other onboard usb boards, i connected the usb cable to them and tried a lot of times to get the display started. But nothing happens, the display lights only blue without any text. It seems to be defect, didn't it? :(

I would say so. Do you get the clock after you boot up into windows with imon loaded? With your problems, I would contact whomever sold it to you for a replacement.

You should try this first: disconnect the mains cable, press the main power button and keep it in for 30s, depress the power, reconnect the mains and start the computer.

this should release any "left over" current in the hardware and provide a proper "cold start"

i've done this now for about 3 times, but always the same result. :(

no, there was no clock. :( what a pity, why does this always happen to my hardware. might it be a error with the driver? or something else? vista64? any idea? :)

hmmm, may be you have a problem of contrast and brightness adjustment.

In the Minidisplay configuration, try to put the two sliders (brightness and contrast) on the left hand side of their position (at around 20-25%).

Does it change something ?

Hello,

I have T6963c based graphic LCD 240*128.
It works fine with LCDStudio, LCDHype and MiniDisplay in text mode.
But, it doesn't want to work in graphic mode in MiniDisplay.
I use Vista 32Bit.
Tried working with the columns and rows number, and nothing.

The logs doesn't show any errors (Just debug and Info).

Any help?

Edit:

About every second it sends this message to log:
2009-03-16 00:45:58.153324 [Info.][MiniDisplay]: MiniDisplayPlugin.DisplayHandler.DisplayLines(): Sending lines to display.
2009-03-16 00:45:58.153324 [Info.][MiniDisplay]: MiniDisplayPlugin.DisplayHandler.SendGraphics(): Processing graphics display.
2009-03-16 00:45:58.153324 [Info.][MiniDisplay]: MiniDisplayPlugin.DisplayHandler.DrawImages(): No images to process

Someone, please? :(

no, nothing happens. i tried some settings, the display restarts, if i click "test display" but thats it. Just a blue display with no text.

maybe a fresh installation of vista is the solution? i just want to test every possibility. i want to reinstall everthing if mp 1.0.1 appears, but the roadmap isnt completed yet. ;)

I see that in your log : No images to process
I think this is an important clue !
I do not promise you to be very helpfull since I do not owe this VFD, and more over, I am not a dev of minidisplay, thus...
Any way :
- Are you sure you have configured everithing well ?
- Does it, however, display any text in graphic mode (even if you do not have any graphics) ?
- Could you post a screenshot of your minidisplay settings (may be you missed something) ?

Did you succeed in making it work, only with iMon manager running, (mediaportal not started) ?
You did not installed Cybrdisplay plugin on a MP1.0.0.0 final ?

thats the problem. it is always the same. only a blue coloured display without text. i have also reinstalled imon manager, without any success. perhaps there is problem with the driver? but i don´t find the single driver anywhere to test it. if i change the internal usb port the display /vista reinstalls the driver but no success too. so i thik if there a the single drivers, not the one from windows vista, i ca test this too. but i don´t kow what might be the exact reason, because the display works, but no text appears.
