BTW, I own a VFD from them and I don't run iMON manager because I use IRSS...

That must be nice. I have an iMon RF200/PAD with a VFD and IRSS doesn't seem to work with it at all. I even tried the imon specific version that was posted, but it does not process input events and the remote just behaves like standard HID input.

The latest SVN version of MP with imon manager 7.77, the display works, but this disables the remote. Running 7.78, the remote still works, but the display does not.

I got the Antec Fusion Black (soundgraph lcd) and the minidisplay plugin doesn't work for me, I don't have the huge driver and software package from imon, as I don't want it.

The old plugin "external display" with the sg_vfdv5.dll in the main directory of mediaportal works fine, but I want the features of minidisplay. Does it work without installing the huge pack of crap that comes with the imon?

I have been using Minidisplay and iMON Manager v 6.01.0202 (iMON Firmware v 0x98) for a very long time. I then bought a Logitech Harmony controller to emulate iMON PAD which basically worked, but I had some huge problems with double commands. I recently upgraded to iMON 7.77.1022 which for some reason helped and my logitech harmony works more or less perfect now! The problem is that the LCD in my Silverstone GD01MX stopped to work. After some playing around in the config and "test" buttons I managed to get the display to work in MP. The problem is that after resume from standby it goes black. It lights up quickly after the resume but get black again. I read about some problems with LCD and latest version so I downgraded to iMON 7.60.0521. But still the same.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to get minidisplay to work with 7.xx versions of iMON?

I am not able to get the Antec Fusion VFD back on since the latest updates and latest svn.
Is there someone who has fixed it already?

Well.. 7.60.0521 is really not the latest update. It's a version from beginning of 2009.
I guess it has been broken a while then.

"remote" control minidisplay plugin?

first of all thanks for this great plugin. working fine with my antec fusion.

anyway it would be great to have the possibility to turn off and on the display by an external plugin.

I am currently using Goersch's GMPS to do the wakeup and sleep scheduling which imo is more reliable than mp's powerscheduler and additionally allows the usage of microsoft's away mode and allows you to use s5 as suspend mode in connection with the imon hardware.

gmps comes with a mp-process-plugin. is it possible to e.g. send a command from this plugin to minidisplay plugin to turn off or on the display, or even display a specific text?
