Mini Display Plugin (2 Viewers)

Hi,

I have a question. Is MPDisplay2 also working on MediaPortal 1.1.3?

I am for days and days fighting to get it working but without succes. it keeps giving me an error and if I go to the plugin config section of mediaPortal i can not choose for any skin for minidisplay, it appears with 1280 number in the skin selection box and the grafics card is 0 readeon blablabla. No way to choose monitor or skin.

When i start mediaportal i get an error message related with MPDisplay but i can´t figur out what it means.

Can someone help me on this?

Is it possible to fix a line in which the text is too long to display it at once, so it doesn't scroll horizontal?

For example in TV-View is the name of the TV-channel "Prosieben Austria" too long, so it scrolls all the time over the display. But I want it to stay fixed but shortened, like that: | Prosieben Austri |

No ideas?

I'm a little confused now: can I use the latest Imon driver available with MP 1.2.1 and will MiniDisplay work? I have an Antec MicroFusion case with Imon vfd. Or I should stick to the older IMON drivers? Thanks!

Am I the only one finding it slightly odd that after all the hissy fits on both this and the Soundgraph forum over the past few years, we're still no better off now that Soundgrpah finally published an API for both their mini display and also their remote?

It seems to me that the "reason" for not supporting their display API (the lack of a remote API) could easily be seen to be an an excuse, and not a genuine reason given the events (or lack of) which followed.

And where are we now? Still waiting for support to be provided, and no indication of when this might finally happen.

I fail to see how this comment is in any way helping the situation. In fact I find it rude. Simone is a *very* busy guy having recently started a new (and apparently busier, if it is possible) job. I'd respectfully request that you have some patience and try to be constructive - if you are so keen then you could try to add support yourself.

I have one suggestion for improvement. Could the display be turned off or dimmed if the system enters away mode? I use that a lot, but there is no external indication that the htpc is only on for recording.
