Hello,

I'm running the current version of both Mediaportal and SAF. However, I have nothing to select for 'DVD Navigator'. Just an empty field. Anybody have a solution for this?

    Hi.

Well, that's strange. You should at least see the inbuild DVD Navigator from MS. Please fill out your system specs. And the log of starting the MP configuration would be great.

pls check in your Registry if you have the key "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{083863F1-70DE-11D0-BD40-00A0C911CE86}\Instance\{9B8C4620-2C1A-11D0-8493-00A02438AD48}" - this is MS DVD Navigator, that should be present in Win XP+ Systems, unless you have "optimized" your OS and removed some essential components.
In FilterHelper.cs there is 4 types of subfilters for GUID {083863F1-70DE-11D0-BD40-00A0C911CE86}:
"DVD Navigator", "InterVideo Navigator", "NVIDIA Navigator", "cyberlink dvd navigator"
So you need at least one installed. If you screwed up your system, then at least try to install one of above filters (first one is built in Windows)

O Frabjous Joy! That seems to have done the trick. Thank you so much for your help and advice, CyberSimian. I hadn't thought of deleting the various folders, but I'll bear that in mind for any future disasters. Now I can record King & Conqueror on Sunday! Cheers Ralph
