Mixed Audio & Music Video Playlists (1 Viewer)

Hi! I'm new here in the Forum.

Is it possible to play a mixed Audio and Music Videos playlist? I use to play sessions of random Audio and Music Videos with other programs.

I have never heard of it being done so I just made a playlist with a mix of video and audio and saved as a WMP.asx playlist and added .asx to the extensions of MP and it says unable to play so I doubt it, But there may be some way to do it I don't know about.

I would also like a "Party Mode" feature. I guess it's not possible right now in Media Portal :-( .

I just tried a mixed audio and video playlist today in MP 1.6.0 with some success. I did notice a couple of peculiarities though:

1. I'm using the Milkdrop 2 visualization (which works really nicely under 1.6.0 BTW). When an audio track plays, the visualization is displayed as expected. However, when transitioning back to a video, the visualization doesn't go away, appearing instead of the video (though the audio associated with the video still plays. This problem doesn't occur when moving through the playlist on a file by file basis, either forwards of backwards (with F7/F8).
   
2. When fast-forwarding during an audio track, pressing the play button (i.e., to stop fast-fowarding and resume playing) results in being returned to the start of the first file on the playlist.

Is some sort of special configuration necessary to make this scenario work correctly, or are there some issues here?

Interestingly, after rebooting this morning, I no longer experienced problem (2) described above. I still can't get the transition from audio/visualization to video to work right through.
