    I am considered *the* windows security expert at the university where I work. And I guarantee you that the "security breaches" you noticed have nothing to do with Mediaportal.

    The "track this conversation" only means that people get an email when a new message is posted in a particular thread. There is no way that this can lead to an attack to your machine (I am oversimplifying a bit, as this would be possible on a website specially crafted for this purpose, but not here).

    As was explained to you before, these are automated scans that go around the net all the time and in no way specifically target you.

    As for Infinityloops remarks, I myself thought them very funny. You obviously disagree with that. Maybe we should just leave it at that ;)

    And I confirm what level20peon says: your thread was moved because it belongs better in a different category. And not removed like it might have been if you had discovered a plot from Mediaportal admins to assassinate president Bush...

    (damn, I made a joke as well ! :oops: )
