AW: NEW: Moving Pictures 1.0 Beta 3 Available

    Hi fforde,
I have one question: I do scan the movies with their directoryname for identification, because I have named (most) of the directories properly.
In the List of nonapproved movies, there is the filename ("files") plus possible matches, but NOT the directoryname - so it is difficult (without rechecking, that works) to easily identify corrct moviename / date as indended and and as it was handed over to the grabberpart.
Is it possible to show directory name in this list as column too - and maybe even the name that was recognized my MoPix after regex? Maybe per setting I have not yet found?

    Thanks, Guzzi

We intentionally omit the directory name in the list itself but if you hover your mouse over a filename, it will give you the full path in the tooltip. Hope this helps.

UPDATED: Moving Pictures 1.0 RC Available

Moving Pictures 1.0 RC is now available. This is a very minor bug fix release focusing on a few fixes for Bluray playback and MediaInfo retrieval for some less common audio codecs. A full list of changes can be found on our wiki.

This version is a release candidate for 1.0 Stable. This means that if no major bugs are found over the next week, this version will be promoted to 1.0 Stable. Our hope is that this will be the last Moving Pictures 1.0 release and we can now start working on new features for Moving Pictures 1.1. To all of you who have braved the last few Beta versions of 1.0, thank you for helping with testing Moving Pictures!

Please feel free to post comments and questions in this thread. If however you have a bug to report please post on our issue tracker. If you post a bug report in the forum we will make every attempt to keep track of and respond to it, but priority will be given to bugs filed in our issue tracker.

Excellent news. Thanks for the hard work and for putting up with us fools who occasionally complain about slow progress! Epic awesomeness all round.

    Configuration Dialog:

    Feature request:
    maximize button in config dialog

    Bug:
I am using bigger font size in windows 7, and so also all the fonts in the config dialog are getting bigger. So there are some dialogs whitch can't be read anymore.

Nothing in the config would take advantage of the extra space, it would just make things look weird.

This is a known issue. Please check the issue tracker. Also, from two posts above yours:

Hmm, ok the for the main configs there are no advantages, but for the film overview I would prefere a maximizes view. So I could see all the infos right from the beginning.

    Edit:
    Thx for the infos :)

Re: UPDATED: Moving Pictures 1.0 RC Available

I just installed the latest version (1.0.3) on a fresh install of MP and have had a few dramas. Firstly, the MovingPictures.dll didn't extract and I kept getting errors which crashed my config when loading the plugin properties.

I have had to install 1.0.1 over the top and it is working, I'll wait for the next version before trying again.
