    Movie Manager Filtering
The big new feature in this release is filtering in the Movie Manager in the configuration. For example if you want see a list of movies that are missing artwork you can do so with a few clicks. If you want to see a list of what you have recently imported to verify the downloaded movie details this is now also trivial. The system uses the same filtering controls as the Category and Filtering systems so this is fully customizable and should be familiar to many users.

We have also made a few additional usability tweaks in the Configuration panel. For example the file names attached to a movie are now displayed on the first tab of the Movie Manager which should make it easier to identify mismatched files. It is now also possible to review ignored files one by one. Oh and you can now select all movies in the Movie Manager using CTRL-A.

    Great!
    Thanks a lot but...
Can a search function can be possible in GUI?

Actually search in the GUI has been in place since 1.3. Press the context menu (F9 on the keyboard) and it's available there. There is also a button for this although it may not be implemented in all skins.

I mean Search on Moving Pictures not on MediaPoratal.

e.g. : If i want search for a movie on Moving Pictures for example "The Firm". I can´t search by title. I need to press the "T" key several times and search manually by the name of the movie.
In MediaPortal, i only press F9 or context menu and type the name of the movie i want do see.

My English its not the best but you understand what i ask?

    Search here!

    F9 only works inside MediaPortal.

A search inside config would be nice, especially if it can be expanded to also allow a search for the "filename" itself. There are still situations in which a user for example has the "always group movies in same folder" setting enabled and without realizing it ends up file-grouping movies and then blames Moving-Pictures for not finding their movies.

The ability to be able to simply search on part of the filename/movie-title would eliminate a lot of the guess work then if they see what happened. The only way now to 'find' those movies is to keep an eye on the filename info and manually scroll through the list. They will most likely then still require wiki/forum assistance to figure out why that happened, but it skips a lot of the initial confusion.

And I think ther should be no config except gui

I agree totally for normal operation, and a GUI search already exists.

Debugging why a movie did not import or adjust settings, add a new category, etc. This is where I prefer to launch MovPic config direct via PluginConfigLoader.exe and not have to wait literally minutes for MediaPortal GUI or MediaPortal Config to load (weird layers that delay everything when loaded via RDP). But inside config without the search option it is very difficult to locate a file that is grouped wrong.

    Just my 2 cents.
