Same error no matter how I try to install it in vista x64, I've tried every SVN since it was said to be fixed. I've uninstalled and deleted all files and reinstalled 0.2.3.0 RC1 fresh multiple times and applied each SVN to the base after originally just keeping the old install around and updating every SVN as it's released in hopes it'd work. 0.2.3.0 RC1 launches fine, as does the TV Server configuration when that is installed. Any ideas or more info needed? I appreciate the help!
Hi,
Grab this svn build & download this one (MediaPortal.exe & Configuration.exe, they're complied & works fine here) & replace them & then test again.
thank you so much, now it works for me too but only with your
two .exe files ...
Are you two using XP 64bit or VISTA 64bit ?
I have a problem playing HDTV ts files in the internal MP-Player
and then going back to MediaPortal skin ... after going back the
skin is oversized so i can't see the complete skin.
I am not sure where the problem is :
1. VISTA 64bit ( because on my 32bit VISTA i don't have this ) ?
2. NVIDIA driver ( because on my 32bit system i have a ATI AGP card ) ?
3. DirectX 10 ( because on my 32bit system i have DirectX 9 ) ?
On both systems i have the PowerDVD ULTRA codecs for MPEG2 and
the PDVD h264 for h264, so this should't be the point.
I tried the new "Enhanced Video Renderer" for Vista, but on my 64bit
Vista i only get a black screen and loose control over MediaPortal so i
can't stop or close it ...
If i setup Mediaportal to use VMR9 exclusive mode the movie plays
but i get the oversized skin after stopping the movie. If i only pause
the movie the skin stays normal.
I tested without VMR9 exclusive mode and than i don't have the
skin being oversized issue. Does somebody have an idea ?
Hi,
Gizzmo, i'm using Vista x64, Vista x86, XP MCE, XP Pro here for testing.
The flag for MP it's set to x86, so something else it's causing it. As said the ones i have compiled here works on every computer, but we will find out.....
thanks for the link i will test it ... the problem is i am not sure if it's
64bit related.
hi ronilse,
so is EVR ( enhanced video renderer ) working for you ? and did i
understand you right, you are thinking it is not 64bit related ?
Oh maybe relevant, i am using Project Mayhem III skin on a
1920 x 1080 resolution ... maybe i have to test if it's because
using a 4:3 skin on a 16:9 resolution ... hmm
