since the svn´s of the last 5 days scheduled recordings are very unreliable.
the bad thing is, they seem to work after mp and tvservice is fresh started (machine boot).
if mp runs a few hours the scheduled recordings seem to work more and more unreliable.
the movie is in scheduled recordings but NOTHING happens until i restart the tvservice.
i was not able to find a method to replicate this bug at the moment, but it really exists.
would be nice if the programmes can take a look at this thing.
if i find a method to replicate this, i will post logs, and how to do it.

Run MP from MPTESTTOOL, you will find this in the start menu or MP directory.

When you have the problem with your scheduling then the logs produced can be uploaded to this forum for the devs to look at, without the logs tracing a problem is impossible.

If you go into TVServer config\scheduled are the recordings showing up there.

Are you using grab epg from dvb stream or xmltv.

Wondering if something changes, as from what i gather epg can be effected by now and next from some of the transponders updating.

I know that this is being worked on, as in testing ts files from various Country's\sources ie DVB-T\S\C looking for discrepancies between them and how it affects TVE3.

Revert back to the one that worked for you, for the time being.

    Remember this is Beta.

Cheers and logs do help, just in case it is something outside MP as well.

problem is, i upgraded to the actual svn because of the tv guide bug (tv guide stays on screen). this was very annoying for me....
the logs are on the way. at the moment mp records correctly. but another strange thing is, i can´t switch into the running boadcast that is recorded.

I have the same problem. I saw that it only has to do with TvService somehow hanging up.
In this situation it also cannot be manually controlled by TvSetup. When I just kill TvService.exe and restart it, it will immidiatly begin recording. So the question is why is TvService getting stuck that often now.

My Machine is always running, and in the latest svn's this happens more than once a day at the moment.

=> I'm using DVB EPG grab. The recordings show up in SetupTV.
