Again... I have trouble with scheduled recordings. Nothing is recorded, just the .xml file is placed into the recording directory. I don't know whether the origin of the problem is the same as in scirocco790s case but in the matter of not opening unnecessary threads I post into this one.

Please help me :(... SVN from 19.02.2008... Please let me know if you need more information...

PS: Manual tuning into the respective channel works...

i´ve tested todays svn and the problem still exists. mp runs about an hour and then i can´t start tv.
today there was a change from gemx (somewhat about the idle epg grabber related) in the svn that seemed to me that it will fix the bug, but it does not...
but i think it is something that has to do with the idle epg grabber, because when i turn it off everything runs fine.

still no change on this thing in yesterdays svn. mp works without flaws if i disable the idle epg grabber. if not i can´t restart tv after about an hour.

i have absolutely no problems with scheduled recordings (~8 are done every day).

are you using the idle epg grabber?
i assume you mean the background epg grabber, which fetches EPG during recording/timeshift?
    i do not use that.

dvb-epg (from dvb-s and dvb-t) is only grabbed when all cards are IDLE.

I am using xmltv so EPG cannot be the bad element in my case. But in fact I also wouldn't dare to miss a recording if my user was Homer Simpsons transforming into Hulk .
