MP final wont install (1 Viewer)

I uninstalleded everything.
Then started MP1 final, but it wont install. The computer is connected to the internet, but it wont download the needed files. Please see the below.

Try installing the DirextX update manually - Download details: DirectX Redist (November 2008)

Then try a reinstall

Can you download the DirectX file using the the direct url ?
http://install.team-mediaportal.com/DirectX

If so, you can pace this file in %temp%\Team MediaPortal\Deploy
The next time you start the installer it will recognize that
you already have it and skip the download.

Thanks for the suggestion, yes I can download it from the URL directly. But what is wrong with my system since I have to do this manually?

should we take the august version from the http://install.team-mediaportal.com/DirectX link or the newest november version from microsoft???

i thougt that we always should take the newest, isn't it?

I'm having this same problem with the first file it tries to download- an XML file

If I download it manually where exactly do I put the file on a Windows Vista 64-bit machine?

just C:\%tempt%\... ?

Not: C:\Program Files\Media Portal\%temp%\... ?

OR rather on 64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Media Portal\%temp%\...?

OR EVEN: User\Application Data\%Temp%\etc...?

Now to find out why MPCVideoDecoder won't show up in RadLight under 64-bit... but, that's a whole 'nother topic/forum... T_T
