Maybe I'm wrong but today my MP stopped, and now I can't start it, not even configuration.exe, I erased my logs to see what was written but it crash even before something is written to the logs, any hints? I have uninstalled 0.2.2.0 and tested SVN from today yesterday and all back to 14416 but nothing works

    Absolutely the same here.

It all started with installing all that SQL-Stuff (successfully) for TVServer3. (Connection to SQL works, but the TV-Card (TT 3200) now has a yellow mark on it. Deactivating the Cards Drivers did not fix the mediaportal issue.

(btw the link in the faq (Can I watch encrypted channels with MediaPortal)-section is dead)

(edit): Fixed that for me by deleting and reinstalling the mediaportal folder. Actually not brave enough to install any svn though.

I have recently installed MediaPortal 1.37 (x64) and MP-TVSeries v4.5.1.697 and unfortunately the TV episode runtime duration is missing in my Titan skin. This only applies to my .TS files, my .MKV files are OK. I believe the difference is likely to be because .MKV files embed the runtime in the file unlike .TS files. I have done...

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

I did a check of MP 1.36 x64 on Win11 and I can confirm, that the TV server correctly detects running MediaPortal.exe process.

I noticed there's an updated Visual C++ Runtime (14.50.35710), maybe try to reinstall the runtimes? That's what fixed the issue when I tried 1.38.1
