Episode information should get updated if updates are enabled in configuration (however I think there was a bug in the logic if 'download episode information for whole series' is not enabled as well)

Downloading of User Rating/User Favorites is planned for 2.2

Hi,

When I rebuild the database, only the first TV show's artwork download, the rest are all blank.

Can you try deleting your thumbs folder and running import again (set log to debug beforehand and attach log after if still a problem).

Return log level to Normal when everything is OK.

Hi Ronlise, if your compiling your own build from SVN then you need to run Merge.bat (see r410 - mptvseries - Google Code for more details), basically it combines the Cornerstone.MP.dll and TVseries.dll into one binary which I do for external releases like the one above.

Perhaps this isn't supposed to work yet but I'm using a little mod on the xml (mediastream) by emphatic to show series fanart instead of a default background when no episode preview image is available. Quite often the wrong fanart is displayed. i.e lost fanart in episode view for heroes.

Other than that I've no issues with fanart

To fix that problem, you can do either one of these below:

1. Remove Fanart Fading support (removing control with <id>525</id>), then #TVSeries.Fanart will always be the correct fanart if it exists.
2. Change the default background thumb from #TVSeries.Fanart to #TVSeries.Fanart2 (#TVSeries.Fanart contains the previous fanart loaded thats why you see lost fanart.

If you have multiple fanarts for a series and Random enabled then you can probably use #TVSeries.Fanart because the 1st and 2nd fanarts will be for the same series when entering episode view (assigned once when selecting series, assigned twice when selecting season, assigned thrice when entering episode view...)

FYI...you should also remove line "<visible>!Control.IsVisible(1232)</visible> " from default background.

Hi, I've done what you sugest but I'm still having problems rebuiding the database and for it to download all artwork. It has however now managed to try download 2 show's artwork rather than just the first one in the list.

Oh and going back to the previous version of the plugin downloads all artwork fine

I don't get it - why is this thread dated only a day or two old, when there's an identical one for exactly the same version dated Oct 2008 (2008-10-21, 18:07)?

Is this version (2.1.3318) a day old or 3 months old?

First impressions:

This version is very fast!

When setting a default frequency for Automatic Refresh Changer and returning from an episode now everything is shown correct (previously there was a mess on the screen).

No bugs for me so far.

ok, looks like I found the problem. The second show in my list didn't have any posters to import, so the plugin for some reason stopped all artwork downloads from there. I removed that show from my folder and rescaned and all shows downloaded artwork fine.

Hi,
I have a problem since I upgraded to TV-Series 2.0 and today to 2.1: i can't see episode and series infos (see picture attached). I installed 2.1 over 2.0 and I am wondering how one can revert to default configuration if the error is a result of a misconfiguration done by me.
I cleared the skin cache and also deleted and rebuilded the tvseries database. I use MP 1.0.0.0 final and a resolution of 1366x768.

Any idea what the error could be?
