I have had no luck with the new version finding new series added to my library. The first time I ran the new version it made all my media seem like it didn't exist so trying to start an episode would give the missing file error message. After replacing the database with the backup I had done prior to installing the new version it added the new series with no series data and none of the episode info. Looking at the database the new series had a negative number not the TVDB ID I used in the file placed in the new series folder. I am not sure where to go from here.

Ok so every time I run the update from within MediaPortal it makes all the links to videos invalid so selecting any video gives the file missing error message.

@Starboy, hard to help without more information. Could you switch to debug logging in media portal configuration, the open the tvseries configuration UI, delete a few series that do not look to be imported, then run the import and attach logs after.

Also may be helpful to post some screenshots of your file structure etc
