Hi.
Next version of SlimTVClient Plugin will be supporting MPE. This is nothing about MPE, only about SlimTVPlugin. A new "provider" dll for SlimTV is necessary to work with MPE. This is planned, but not released jet. There are no changes to MPE necessary...
Up to now you need to use TV4Home (core service) if you want to watch TV inside MP2...

The TV client in MP2 doesn't support MPExtended unfortunately, despite a patch being available for more then two months...
MPExtended doesn't support using the databases from MP2 either. It'll come in some future version, but not in the next one (0.5) probably, unless there's a lot of user demand...

Hi. It seems that new SlimTV client can use MPE 0.4.2 as a provider. It's released some minutes ago...

maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)
maybe other programs competing for resouces?

Since over a year my MP sometimes stucks while showing the welcome screen. It started once a week now it happens every second time...
