[Bug] [MP1-4525] freezes when one video is playing (in small win) and play another video will come (1 Viewer)

Just fast question before proper testing - do you have WMV playback check to ON or OFF in Videos/VideoPlayer/WMV playback?

Yes it's checked on my side it's to get WMV 5.1 but not needed when using LAV audio i think

OK, I have as well, just I am not sure if this is needed, anyway we both have the same


I can confirm the bin V3 works fine with two issues:

1. when I go to Pictures and start to play any video from any sub-folder and than I press green button, it goes to home screen in the video in in the small windows (up to now everything is fine), but when I go back to Pictures again, it stops to play first camera video and start to play first video from the last sub-folder (it happens every time) - can you check if it happens in your system as well please?

If I go meanwhile to the different menu - e.g. movies, and then back to the Pictures, in this case everything is fine, it will display list of pictures and camera videos only (and does not start any last video).

2. when I start to play camera video in Pictures and I press back on remote, it stops to play last video, which is not as it is in TV and movie menu (I would guess the behaviour should be same). I think when I am in Pictures and MP is playing camera video in Pictures and I press the back button, it should minimize playing video to the small video windows in the middle on top of the screen and display list of pictures/camera videos.

Hi Sebastiii,
I just upgraded to MP 1.8.0 and it looks like the bin version 3 is not included in new version of MP. Just to be sure you know about it.

Hi Martin, yep need to create a branch/jira for it and it will be for 1.9.0 pre-release.
But you can use v3 on official 1.8.0 Final, it should work

Need to reproduce it, i think it's related to playlist, could you try to clear it ?
For now i can't reproduce it, but i remember that a playlist can be created when playing some video.
