MP2 - Spring'16 MP2 Server crash on TV scan (1 Viewer)

Before you do this, please change the log level of the MP2-Server to "ALL" and try again. It will probably crash again, but maybe we will see more details in logs.

I see in the screenshot it hangs in Frequence 18366000.
I searched in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service3\ProgramData\ProgramData.zip\TuningParameters\dvbs\19.2°E Astra 1KR,1L,1M,2C.xml
for this frequence. I wanted to remove. But i didnt find.
Does anyone know, where i have to remove?

Check the folder C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\SlimTVCore\v3.0 for tuning details. The zip you mentioned is only the "container" for defaults that will be extracted to the folder if not present.

the folder you mentioned is not present. The installation is freshly done.
Attached, you will find a ScreenShot and the Logfiles from Debug-Level ALL.

I hope, we can find, why the Scan crashed the TVService.

Please check the difference, I posted "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\SlimTVCore\", just copy&paste this inside explorer address bar. (this folder is hidden by default, you have to enable hidden folders inside explorer settings to see it)

now he crash while scanning in frequency 18515000
Im wondering, why this happens and i hope, i will not loose any channels if i remove this transponder lines ...

@azzuro and @Cojun, can you confirm that you are scanning the Astra 19.2° ?

What makes me wonder are the tuning details inside ProgramData folder: in the orginal version contained inside MP2 installer the file is named "19.2°E Astra 1KR,1L,1M,2C.xml", 31132 bytes, dated 01.08.2015. In this file, there is no transponder listed, that causes the crashes here.

And I think those crashing ones are only with InnerFecRate "Rate1_2".

Strange?

Maybe wrong Astra?

Hi.
Probably the recent satellite file for Astra is not good.... At least it has a different name "19.2°E Astra 1KR,1L,1M,1N.xml", maybe MP2 did not find it.
Maybe someone can remove the new file and add the one from the zip and try again. Most likely the scan is working without a crash. Can't test it myself at the moment.

@azzuro and @Cojun, can you confirm that you are scanning the Astra 19.2° ?

yes, it's astra 19.2° but 1N satellite, the file provided by MP2 is an old one. with bad name about the PHI symbol.

i added an screenshot of lyngsat channel transponder list.

you can see the lnb type is "Europe KA " instead of "Europe KU" for all other transponder. maybe the culprit ?
on MP1 TVE scan, this transponder are identified during scanning as " nothing found"

MP1 log when scan this transponder . i have few error too, but TVE don't crash.
