Also, with regards to mp-NZB, if I remember correctly that works with sabnzbd, so he is probably better off looking into a plugin for sabnzb called Sickbeard. It has exactly the features he wants, and is essentially fire and forget once setup, and is a web interface so it will do all the downloading and file transfers he wants and then mp-tvseries will pick it up.

I have been using it For 16 years now (from V1.1.1) and it has worked flawlessly.
I only use TV Series and Moving...
fixed the episode naming above ^. There was no error in the naming of the file itself.
Every time I enter TV Series, it tries to re-scan the episodes. The series appears for just a few seconds and disappears again.

Does anyone out there use tvguide.com to access TV listings..? :unsure: If so, can you advise on how it is set up for use with MediaPortal..? I havebeen using Zap2XML / GraceNote but that just died (for me alone seemingly) and I am out of listings. :( Would appreciate any help - Thanks.

maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)
maybe other programs competing for resouces?

Since over a year my MP sometimes stucks while showing the welcome screen. It started once a week now it happens every second time...
