Hi,

I have installed MPTray.exe and I can see it's running in task manager, yet I don't see any icon for it in task bar. How do I configure it or use it in this case?

what?? The tray for the remote will show up in the start up manager. IN my case I use tuneup Utilities and its right there in plain sight. or go to run>type "msconfig" > goto "startup" tab and itll be right there. Theres no configuration. I'm not an expert but I know its only purpose is to allow u to open the Media Portal by pressing the green button alone.

For this reason I would suggest that you uninstall MP2 and re-install MP1. The 1.33 version is recommended (in either the 32-bit or 64-bit version). Also, it is pretty...

When I tested MP 2.5 some months ago using TVE3.5, I found that "scan for channels" failed to find any channels when I selected a DVB-T2 tuner (a TBS 6284) :(, but succeeded when I used a DVB-T tuner (a Pinnacle 2000i) :). Obviously the Pinnacle found only those channels broadcast in DVB-T MUXes (in the UK we have both DVB-T MUXes and...
