Steps to reproduce this behaviour:
1. Start Mediaportal in debug-mode (watchdog)
2. navigate to "my music"
3. open the share
4. open the directory with the mp3s
5. starting the playback by clicking on the first track in the folder
6. wait until music stops ;-)
7. close mportal ==> watchdog starts gathering the logs
Do you want a screenshot when the music stopped? there is nothing special to see. just the "normal" mepo-gui. no error message or something like that. If there are any further information which could help to track the bug please let me know.
Maybe i misread the issue.
So you mean you start MP3 and music stop while playing ?
On my side, i have AutoDJ enable (so music never stop and play all same music genre), so i will disable it and play an album but for me all play correctly (Wasapi setting for sure).
Will retry with you mediaportal.xml a,d if you can post some screenshot config
The point N°1 is to reproduce the issue lol
Can you try :
We have a working/testing branch about Music MP crash based on 1.7.0 Pre release here : https://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-4350
You can find the link to the installer, worth a try
Thanks Sebastiii for the hint https://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-4350 -
There I found a download --> Is it right that this would mean to install a "different" version of MP 1.6.0 ? - If so, wouldn't there be the danger to get problems with other components of MP? - You see, I'm a little bit cautious , maybe I spent too much time in the last months
At the moment I'd rather prefer to use the dshow player. There I need to "teach" dshow how to play ogg, flac and ape files. Maybe you have a hint on that case? And Finally - what do you think about Pure Audio?
