awesome no crash so far only thing is that if i choose a film i have no description or something like else but i think this is a problem by the aeon skin files

Do you install the mpi MyFilms file after upgrading AEON Skin. That file isn't compatible with MyFilms v4.7. So install the mpi file please.

hey zebons,

i'm still gettting the crash. i've tried the versions you posted here (4.7.9b) and 4.7.9a (in the main thread). It doesn't matter what skin I use (aeon, titanium, blue3) they all crash. I am installing the mpi and letting it update the skin xml files. 4.7.8 was working well for me! (except for some fanart issues with movies that didn't have fanart). Thanks for taking a look at this! Here's my log:
running RC3 + 4.7.9a + vista

You have something wrong in your setup or to be more explicit, there is a bug with your settings... Can you attach your setup file (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MyFilms.xml)

then, I deleted it and started a new one just to see if it would fix it. but it didnt:

like i said, 4.7.8 worked fine for me so it must have been something you changed from 4.7.8 to 4.7.9

I don't understand your pb... Can you test with invalidating some functionalities :
try with desactivating fanart
try after with no search picture
...
And tell me when it works...
Please attch your xml setup file and your database xml file.
