How can i export my catalogue in the format you want to see it?

I need this file:

This is the exported file from EAX. With this one and your config file (that you already posted) I should be able to reproduce your problem.

totopsgr, you are trying to sync up a lot of tvshows from your myfilms database. TVShows need to be handled from the TVSeries plugin. I first suggest you enter Trakt configuration, click on the Movie restrictions button and tick the tvshows listed in with your movie collection. If you have all your tvshows in seperate directories then it may be easier to just use the Folder Restrictions button.

Once, you have done that...can you run up mediaportal again, wait a few minutes and shutdown. Then post logs again.

Thanks. I did as instructed. Please see attached log files. The funny thing is that it now shows that i have only 50 movies in trakt out of which only 1 in my collection, although it reads 375 records from my films.

totopsgr, apparently now the trakt plugin only thinks you have 1 movie available.

Are you sure you were not too aggresive with the restrictions?

EDIT: I have identified an issue with folder restrictions where it doesnt work...so for now just restrict by individiual movie entry (ie tick all the tvshows). We will address the path restrictions asap, but this doesnt have anything to do with your original problem.

No I didn't apply mass restrictions. Only selective ones that included TV Series, Mini Series, Music DVDs and Documentaries.

One thing i have to mention that might help is that I am using EAX movie catalogue and the only record that is identified by Trakt from the exported XML is the one and only entry with an attached media file. ALL the other records are references to HARD copies (original DVDs and Blu Rays). Trakt seems to ignore all records that don't have an attached media file to them.

Any ideas?

Guzzi might need to help on that one, I get back the list of movies from MyFilms and dont do any extra filtering on it for movie collection syncing. One thing to double check is that you have enabled trakt for all the configs you use in MyFilms.

Will check tonight - I have to setup a test case for debugging. Will first fix the exception, as it might cause other issues afterwards.
According log, MyFilms returns 375 movies back to trakt plugin. indeed, for non-local movies, there won't be a sourcepath (file) - will also look into trakt code - we might have to adapt it for offline media handling...

Oh so it doesn't support offline media as it is? It would be great if you could do that and base the last watched also in manualy setting a movie as watched. Otherwise Trakt will loose much of its appeal to me, since i primarily use DVDs and BLu Rays. (see my trakt banner bellow, still mentions i have no watched movies )

totopsgr, the forum banner will only show you what you watch (or currently watching) when trakt is activated and not what you have watched in the past before trakt was activated

However, it does record your watch flags during sync as well.

I just had a closer look at the log:

9/5/2011 7:21:10 AM[][9][Info] BaseMesFilms.GetMovies: returning 375 movies
9/5/2011 7:21:10 AM[][9][Info] 1 movies available to sync in MyFilms database(s)

And I think that is a trakt plugin bug with the movie restrictions. Its filtered 375 -> 1...will have a look at that piece of logic and see what's up. Im guessing you DID NOT disable 374 movies from restrictions

It should of course also support offline media, as this is a supported scenario of myfilms - it's just that we didn't have testers with that use case before - so we have to look into it and fix whatever is the problem ;-)

totopsgr, the bug with movie restrictions was because of the empty filename field for the tvshows you selected....for now you will have to go back into the configuration and make sure they are unchecked. Will have to come up with another solution for that.

EDIT: it will probably easier to open mediaportal.xml and delete the entry:

No I definitely didn't disable 374 entries. More like 20 to 30.

Will try that as soon as i get back home and let you know. But to clarify again, most of my entries have no files associated with them anyway, so i am hoping that the fix will take that into account.
