SciDoctor is right here.
VMR9 is disabled by default for MyMusicVideos.
I think it was a bad idea to post the bugfix and the improvements in one patch so i made a new request on sourceforge for the bugfix only.
If this gets accepted then i will post the improvements since they are based on the bugfix.
Well I m glad you posted both fix and improvements here because when they are installed correctly the solution for mymusicvideos and mytrailers is excellent with VRM9.
With respect to 0.2.2.0 release because they force OVERLAY the problem with playlists causing an exception in mymusicvideos is now unavoidable (ie you can't set the plugin to VRM9 prior to fix patch to avoid this)
The latest SVN for 0.2.2.0 has the VRM9 option in mymusicvideos back in place so now your patch is working great again.
I'm baffled that such an excellent addition has been left out of the official svn's !!!
Overlay has so many restrictions aswell as very poor PQ espeacialy on the network streams, VRM9 is a huge improvement and has no problems/limitations with multiple monitors (clone and stretch modes)
GEMX if you are able to could you work your magic with the latest SVN releases and v0.2.2.0. Thanks
Your uploaded code to the SVN bank was obviously ignored as both mymusicvideos and mytrailers still use the older poor method of dispaying within MP which looks cr-p on XP and doesn't work on w2k.
Hi SciDoctor,
i am a bit disappointed as my changes seemed to get not even noticed.
I placed 3 requests about this issue on sourceforge.
1 got opened and closed automatically because no one cared and the other not even got opened.
It's always some work to modify the patches to keep up with SVN and as time goes by i don't see a point in putting more and more efforts in this.
Will think about it.
Nevertheless i have pretty much to do in my job.
