I can't offer you any help at the moment since I'm totally overbooked but about regex here is a nice tool which could help you :

http://www.ultrapico.com/Expresso.htm

Else you can ask James which is with its WebEPG a great regex guru I think :)

As a coordinator for the beta-test why not ask our devoted MP beta testers ? (see this forum's section : https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/forumdisplay.php?f=74)

About the coding convention in you class you should look at the "MP's coding conventions first" I think : http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/MediaPortalDevelopment/CodingStandards

Thank you for that tip. The tool has helped me much and now I have the regex-parts covered.

Thanks. Might do that, when the beta-test is ready. Also got some responses on PM, so that looks good as well.

Actually, I was already trying to do follow those guidelines. Just wanted someone with more experience to browse through my sources and let me know if it makes sense to submit it to SVN or if it's too cluttered.

Also: MyLyrics-integration request added to roadmap.

Hey Lars, thank you for taking the time to get all these thoughts together and make something from them! :D

Another thought to add:
Ability or availability of a way to import a whole bunch of stations from an external program (using XML files or something).
I have made a parser for my ISP's "Free Radio" list, but the current plugin does not have an easy way to import a whole bunch of stations without resorting to .pls files in a "streams" folder which doesn't seem to work :p .
And now since they have moved to a SQLite database, I can't just hack onto the .xml file. (Yes, I know, there are C# wrappers for SQLite, but I need to update the list of stations which means marking the ones that I have added!)

Also, if you need any coding help (I'm not "senior" or anything, but I have done half a plugin before ;) ) or alpha-testing, I'm more than willing!

Just caught this thread. All I would want in a plugin is to be able to browse shoutcast streams as easily as it is done in winamp...that would be a dream come true.
