Code:
I'm guessing your using windows XP for your TvServer. Catch with that is the common application data path is different to vista and windows 7.
No, I am using Vista x64...
"program data, application data etc". point to the same directory, in which Tvstream resides
Maybe an issue with missing permissions?

Alwell few interesting posts, some I should be able to help.

Nicx, interesting problem, did you modify the xslt files at all? I'm not quite sure yet why that happened (though I have a few thoughts). I'll look into it.

i didnt modify anything ;)

if i use the url with the ?group parameter it works fine. the transcodinmg is working, too. so the url failure without the goup-parameter is the only problem for me :)

thanks so far for your work!

nicx...

I'll do a few tweaks and put an updated StreamTv.dll up. I'll look at adding some more information to the Error.log file to help track down some issues.

Give me 30 minutes :)

Only a small patch but it fixes a few issues.

Just overwrite the file in the TvServer folder with the one in the archive. (StreamTv.dll).

This patch should fix:

* The / at the end of a file issue (now looks for index.html if no filename given :p)
* 404 Error now given if file not found.
* Hopefully a little more useful information in the error log (wait and see).

this sounds very much like a misplaced location of the wwwroot folder.
I had the same issue until I had the folder in right location and rebooted my machine.

Kinda why I want to have an installer :p

Shouldn't have to restart the your PC or the TvServer. Once the folder is in the right spot it should just work.

thats what I assume, so I tried several locations...
my location on Vista x64 C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\StreamTv\wwwroot
I dont know at which location Tvstream expects the wwwroot folder,,
Any ideas which other location I can try? Or a x64 issue?
