Hi djurik,

need some help how to configure. When starting mySpeedfan within MP I can
see the Icons but no datas.
I attached the configs from Speedfan and from mySpeedfan Plugin.
I guess something is not configured right?

Now u have to fill in the correct names of the sensors u wanna use. Normally they have names like Temp1 Speed1 Fan1 etc. Just take this names and configure the plugin with the same names. When u rename the sensors u also have to take this names in the plugin!

Note, u have to activate xAP in speedfan every restart!

But SpeedFan 4.32 don't support my mobo Asus P5B Deluxe Wifi/AP.
There are solutions??

Unfortunately I think your only solution is to email the author of speedfan and let him know that your motherboard doesn't work

Hey djurik,

this plugin you created looks interesting. I would like to know whether it is possible to remove the "my" tag in the MediaPortal menu so its name would be "SpeedFan" instead of "My Speedfan". There is an option in the MediaPortal configuration which makes it possible to hide the "my" prefix from all plugins but it doesn't work with "My Speedfan".
I also noticed that the plugin won't work when I put the SpeedFanSettings.xml into the MediaPortal root directory. I have to put it into the \MusicPlayer\Plugins\Visualizations subdirectory in order to make it work. Is this normal ?

I Think they fixed your problem with speedfan.

SpeedFan 4.33 beta 18 (24 aug 2007)
This beta improves support for nVidia video card temperature readings (the same as in the control panel). xAP support is now properly restored on program start. 83627EHF and 83627DHG support has been improved (look at advanced options) and now you can gain control of more fans on several motherboards, like on the Asus P5B and the likes. Added full support for Intel ICH9 and nVidia MCP55 SMBus. Added full support for ADT7475. Lot of improvements and bug fixes.
Support for ITE IT871xF chips has been completely rewritten and now SpeedFan should be able to properly find and use almost every kind of ITE H/M core. Fan speed readings should work fine on all of them. Please, send me the usual SEND REPORTs specifying whether fan speeds are reported correctly or not. In order to run this beta, simply install SpeedFan 4.32, then replace the EXE and then run SpeedFan as usual. Feel free to use the SEND REPORT facility on the INFO tab.

Its a beta version of speedfan, so i dont know if its 100% working.
But I think you should try it.
