Myblaster plugin not working (1 Viewer)

Something in the latest SVN has broken the myblaster plugin (MediaPortal-svn--01-03-2007--01-07-Rev12491.exe), I had to revert back to previous day.

Here is the appropriate section from the error log:

Some changes have been made by the Core Team and standards MP function previously strored in the Core.dll file are now in the Utils.dll (like the MediaPortal.Profile.Settings...). I have the same problem with my own plugin MyFilms.
The Only way I found to correct it is to reference the new MP's dlls in the source plugin program and recompile it ...
Obviously we have to manage many versions of our plugins to satisfy MP's users ;-(((

Not really, no. If at all, you only have to support the latest release of MediaPortal and maybe the latest SVN. About the rest you shouldn't bother. Otherwise you'd end up with a version for every MP release & SVN snapshot.
That's the reverse side of the medal for having progressive development, but not a problem unique to MediaPortal.

My tip: give it up and use the "MCE replacement driver" from and-81.

Agree, but not necessarily Replacement driver. MCE Replacement Plugin will do. Great Plugin with many options and it is under constant development. Myblaster is old and outdated.

I'm actually using the MCE Replacement plugin at the moment but I find it unreliable in changing channels, it seems to randomly send double digits and only changes the channel correctly about half the time, myblaster works correctly everytime.
