Hi everybody,

how can I disable the small thumbnails in the songlist in myMusic plugin when I selected a CD?
Which xml file must be customized?

:D a lot.

Hi Mathias, that is not much information to go on - at least you should say which skin you are using! :) I can tell you that the lists are defined in the common.facade.music.xml file in most, if not all, skins. That should apply to both Shares view and Artist/Albums/Genres/etc. views. There are two types of lists - the listcontrol and the album view (Big Icons List).

I don't think you can actually disable the icons, but you can display them 'offscreen' by adjusting the <IconYOff></IconYOff> tag. Then you will probably want to adjust the <textXOff></textXOff> tag also, to move the text where the icon usually displays or it will leave a blank space.

However, those tags are often set in the references.xml file which sets defaults for the skin. If you only want to 'disable' the icons in the music section, just add the tags you wish to common.facade.music.xml and they will 'override' the defaults for just the music section.

However, this will mean it will never display the small thumbnails in music lists. I don't know how you could do it just when you are playing CDs. So I don't know if that helps you much!

Sorry, it's my fault -- I did not notice that you are using MP2. :( MP1 has a separate configuration utility, similar to "TV Server Config". I have tried MP2 only a couple of times, and have never used it seriously. I don't know what MP2 supports with regard to adjusting audio delay, but I do know that all of the adjustments of...

Update: Problem solved! The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal. The issue stemmed from the corruption of one or both of the mc2xml.dat and/or mc2xml.exe files, for an unknown reason. Consequently, even though the tvguide.xml file appeared to be updated, its content kept being an...
