have you check if the tv card is active in your system? Meanwhile the card is deactivated and after resume (from standby) it`s not been activated. At this point for Mediaportal the tv card is "unknown".

I don't use standby. I have a dedicated server for my mp installation.
I have two dual cards, mystiqu satix s2 dual and one cine s2. Only the mystique is as unkown. No i removed the card, restartet the computer, but the card is gone.

Check the documentation in the wiki -->here<-- - it explains what "unknown" means under "tuners" -> "type". The SaTiX and Cine are very similar (if not identical). It is possible that the drivers have a conflict. Please install the tuner again and reinstall the drivers. After that restart the computer and check the status again. Also check the tuner status in device manager under "sound, video and game controllers" (check that the tuner is listed and that it does not have a yellow exclamation mark).
Actually I solved this myself. I did have the correct driver (it was the only one which would work). But on the drivers download page, there was an additional item called "TBS6281se V2 Change Mode Tool". There was zero documentation to accompany this. I downloaded it and ran it. It is a tool to detect the current run state of both...

My previous TBS PCI-E card failed, so I bought another one. The model I chose is the TBS 6181-SE, which can be seen on Amazon here...

Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
