    Hi all,

until now I used MovPic, but it seems that MyVideo will be sufficient. One thing: What about the poor quality of the covers? My movies are in separate directories containing a folder.jpg, fanart.jpg and [movie].nfo (all generated by EMM).
The original and offered folder.jpg is attached, how can I force MyVideo to use the offered and better coverarts? I know that I can exchange them in the editor, but that would be a manual process.

    Thanks a lot!

I think if the respective pictures are named identically to the movie files my video will then use them as coverart.
Unfortunately that is not be really helpful if all your coverart is named folder.jpg...

Edit: the good thing though is that you would only have to do this once, afterwards mp will use those pictures automatically...

Probably you have tag in nfo file with poster which leads to web page with low quality image.

Currently, nfo scraper looks for videofilename.jpg or videofilename.tbn for local covers, if not found looks for cover in poster tag from nfo file and if that fails finally it tries to get poster from Internet (TMDB->IMPAwards->IMDB [in that order]).

I check the code and now there is way to get folder.jpg (which till Mp 1.2.x was reserved only for folder image in share view and DVD folder rips) in case that main share is checked in configuration as "Dedicated movie folder" -> I need to implement this in nfo scraper (just forgot to do that).

For now you have few options, rename folder.jpg to videofilename.jpg, delete value in tag <thumb>....</thumb> or put there full path and filename for folder.jpg or just in GUI in movie info screen use up-down arrows to change poster (you can see in sshot that there is 10 of them -> MP get them internally from TMDB, IMPAwards and IMDB [just links, they are not downloaded, they will be downloaded when you click arrow]) which will MP take for default one

After sorting my whole database - is there a way to conserve user groups and the respective movies like the normal data is saved in the nfo's?

You can export all movies to nfo files (you can do that in title view or in Win MP config)
    ScreenShot008.jpg
    ScreenShot009.jpg

and for every movie you will get something like this in movie location:
    ScreenShot010.jpg

All fanart and poster will be exported also. For actors there will be only their info (name, role, their imdb index nm1234567, biography), movie list and it's infos for actors (movies and their short information like plot, director, actors...which you can see in actor info screen) will not be exported

Currently actor info screen in Titan is not fully implemented but you can see in default wide what is missing (Trailer button is missing because I got no Online Vids installed on this dev laptop but it should be under movies button [at least in default wide -> depends on skinner choice if it is implemented])

    ScreenShot011.jpg vs ScreenShot012.jpg

Yes, their groups will also be exported, if they are exists, in tag <set></set>.

Just custom created user group rules (auto grouping based on rules) wont. This is still experimental and not so user friendly :) but can be very effective if you know how to do something just don't mess that with Categories in MoPi (that kind of grouping is currently very hard to do in current MP code without changing huge amount of code, I think Hwarmann trying to do that first in Music than, maybe after, global implementation)

    Hi Deda!

As you're speaking about the ex- and import of movie data and artwork, I have a question: How is this handled for external media (DVD, BluRay)?

    Hi.
Really like the rework. If HyperlinkParameters will be supported in next version I can completely change from Moving Pictures to MyVideos.
My biggest dream would be support for TV Series as well. Especially as I'm not really happy with MPTVSeries plugin...
