I tried to install the version 4 as client for my existing TV-server.
Going into the mp-setup did not show an entry for the TV configuration, though.

Is TV disabled in version 4?

    Cheers,

    Update:
Seems like a complete wipe and reinstall did the job. - closed

Thanks for the great testing effort! I wish there would just be more reports on success / failure cases. So, if possible please test the 50 more disks. And in addition please add the WIKI so we have all the test results available in one place.

    *Big Fish - title only works - BD-J 0

This is a bit odd - it should be working as it is working on my dev PC. What goes wrong? Also could you post logs from that failing case?

    *Wall Street(new) - Popup meanu and title works - BD-J 0

A sample would be nice to have.

    *Fantastic 4 - popup menu and title works - BD-J 0

A sample would be nice to have.

**Stargaze HD Universe Beauty - Menu only works - BD-J 0

** cant get movies to play but its a rubbish free documentory.. who cares right?

If a disk fails then it is not a good thing no matter what type of movie it is. It indicates that there is a bug that could be happening on other disks as well. So, a sample would be nice to have :)

    Here's a few:

12 Monkeys BDJ - yes, Menu - no (plays universal intro then exits), Title mode - Yes, but film is jerky as if dropping frames.
3 Days of the Condor BDJ - yes, Menu - no, Title mode - yes
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen BDJ - yes, Menu - no, Title mode - yes
The Adventures of Robin Hood BDJ - no, Menu - no, Title mode - yes, but jerky.
Dr. No BDJ - yes, Menu - no, Title mode - yes
From Russia with Love BDJ - yes, Menu - no, Title mode - works
Once Upon a Time in America BDJ - no, Menu - yes, Title mode - yes

Not sure why 12 Monkeys and The Adventures of Robin Hood have jerky playback, while the other films are perfectly fine. Also, the Robin Hood film is not BDJ but no menu appears. When you choose that option it just plays the film.

Thanks! Please update the wiki to contain the test results.

Not sure why 12 Monkeys and The Adventures of Robin Hood have jerky playback, while the other films are perfectly fine.

Could be a different video format than the other disks are having. Please upload a log of those two videos and tell more about the system you are using (video card, codecs etc.).

Also, the Robin Hood film is not BDJ but no menu appears. When you choose that option it just plays the film.

A sample would be good to have. Sounds like some compatibility issue with the lib or player code.

Both 12 Monkeys and the Adventures of Robin Hood are VC1. I was using LAV (with VC1 checkmarked in the codec config). So I changed Mepo to play VC1 with the Cyberlink Video Decoder (PDVD10) and they now play smoothly. It seems to be a codec problem. Do you still want logs etc? It'd be nice if somebody esle with those two films could double check.
