Have looked a little closer into the issue of non starting selected content:

During testing remote control commands i have started several different media/content with the plugin.
In my case the first movie i selected today was played like it should but second+ just opens the netflix site in the browserhost window.
Now it isnt working at all, it just opens the netflix site (also when restarting MP/Browserhost).

    Steps to reproduce:

    • Start MP Watchdog with option 2
    • Select OnlineVideos Plugin in StreamedMP
    • Select Netfilx
    • Select Series
    • Select Orange is the New Black
    • Select 1x1 and want to start with the thumb
    • -> little circle spins and you land on the netflix site (in browserhost -> checked with taskmanager)
    • There is no thumb selected but if ill press left or right on the keyboard/remote a thumb will be selected and the selected content is played immediately!! without pressing any additional button (enter..). Seems that the automated selection of the content doesnt work correctly!?
    Attached the debug logs.
If you need any additional logs please let me know.

I can also play only the first selected Media in Netflix plugin, second fail. However, exit MP and clear cache in IE 11 helps to get the first selected Media in Netflix plugin playing again.

    Same happens to me.
So ill think its a change in the netflix site.
Yesterday it worked.[DOUBLEPOST=1418421137][/DOUBLEPOST]Ministerk, is it possible to deactivate CTRL-P (print in IE11). The problem is that my sceneo remote sends CTRL-P and the printing window opens :(
I have no chance to change this because its hardware&firmware.

As far as I can see the browserhost version I gave you disables ctrl+p as print - in fact I have tried it here and it doesn't try to print. Is it possible something else on your machine is monitoring the print key? I suppose its also possible that something on your machine (maybe related to WHS) is stopping the web browser from ignoring the shortcut keys.

@Ministerk maybe try removing the Netflix xap from the IE cache on every playback - this is what I had to do for flash to work in 4oD. There's a method already in the system "RemoveFileFromTempInternetFiles" which can do this (a File.Delete isn't possible in the IE cache).

Man, a lot of replies here, been caught in real life...
I have updated the Netflix site, made some alterations to the automation, hopefully more deterministic now.

Try it and see if it works better now. If it fails after you have updated, try to empty cache and cookies.

    Keeping fingers crossed.

About disabling CTRL+P: I don't know:unsure::whistle:. It should not do anything, only the mapped commands should be sent to the browser... Do both play and pause send ctrl+P? If not, only use the one not sending this key stroke (as a workaround).

I can confirm that it now works! I played several Netflix programs in a row and now of them failed.

    Thanks a lot!

no jave setup Netflix ion OV on my second HTPC (with your fixed version Jason).
This HTPC has another IR receiver (USBUIRT+Eventghost) -> all controls are working like they should ;)
On my sleeping room htpc (where i have tested this first) there is an built in IR receiver from techsolo (sceneo remote) which just send keyboard keystrokes to the active window. MP works good with this but not when IE11 with netflix from IE11 is opened. Ill think that IE11 consumes all those keytrokes and the mapping layer from mediaportal is missing.

I also wanted to buy an new eventghost compatible IR receiver -> now its time :D
So you can see this issue (printing dialog opens) as solved.

    thx

I can confirm that now every selected movie is played correctly ;) thx
