I figure I'm missing something here. I've installed the most recent OnlineVideos and can get to a few things (youtube, for example) but can't even find netflix.

When I go into "manage sites" I see what appears to be two panes that might contain information but they're both empty. Automatic update flashes up a popup but there's still nothing showing afterwards. There are no errors reported in the log file.

In the sites list in the configuration dialog I do see netflix.

Where should I start looking?

Thanks

PS I'm in Australia and netflix works fine in a browser for me..
look in "global" I couldn't find it either, it wasn't in the english section. works well.

I've published an update. You can configure what profile to start with and you can save the latest used profile as startup profile. Also when playing a video you can press 0 on remote or keyboard to toggle the Netflix video info/statistics OSD.

Thanks for some great work here. It seems to work in Australia, but I haven't been able to view any thing yet,
I get the white screen flash and the spinning cursor then back to the menu.

The logs are not the same as the previous ones posted but seem to be a similar issue...

INFO ] Looking for SiteUtils and Hosters in OnlineVideos.Sites.ministerk (Version: 2.0.0.3658, Compiled: 2015-05-01 18:30:53)
[WARN ] Duplicate Hoster 'videomega'. Using the one from 'ministerk', because DLL has newer compile time than 'doskabouter'.

    Any ideas?

Can you please post full logs according to the instructions in the opening post? The snippet from the log is nothing to worry about.

Thanks for logs. It does look like a timeout problem, unfortunately there is not way to make the Browser Player timeout longer in this version of OnlineVideos but it will be possible in the next release.

I've attached a version of OV that have a browser timeout of three minutes.

Unistall the current version from Mediaportal extension manager (MPEM), clean the MPEM cache, you find this in the MPEM File menu.

Goto the windows plugins folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows standard on x64 machines) remove the OnlineVideos folder and the OnlineVideos.MediaPortal1.dll file.

Install with the attached installer. It might be a good idea to get this file with another browser than IE (IE renames the .mpe1 to .zip and then you can get other problems...).

Also, in Netflix OV settings, enable remember log-in and disable the loading spinner. Clear the cache in IE (do not browse to Netflix in the browse after this). With the spinner disabled you can observe what the browser automation is doing and this is great to know when trying to debug.

Thank you very much, that's really good of you and way above my expectations.
I have tried it briefly and it worked, so thanks again.

The UI has changed for me and my Netflix plugin has stopped working. I'm getting an error when I try to open it in OV saying "error getting categories".

Can others please confirm that this is an issue for them?
