New Default Wide Skin (4 Viewers)

This one is much better/more professional than the default wide skin.

The home icons are still ugly, is it not better to use some background images instead (like most skins do).

without that sodoku is just not playable, one can not read the numbers...

Hi Catavolt

Attempting to test, but receiving a 'critical error' - "Could not find a part of the path C:\ProgramData\Team Media Portal\MediaPortal\Skin\DefaultWide2\Media\Weather".

Any suggestions how to remedy?

EDIT - please ignore - just having a 'senior' moment. Should have read your instructions more thoroughly at the start and actually copied the current DefaultWide folder to make a DefaultWide2 before extracting your new skin info to it - sorry.

Also not really able to test to any great degree - I currently use both MyTVSeries and MovingPictures - initial impressions were that it was "too dark" - but you've already had that comment. Seems slick enough, aesthetically just not for me. Personally I like the current one, if only the logos were updated, or removed and a basic menu editor added.

Just my thoughts
- Text is now a bit too small
- Watched / Not watched seems to be the opposite to what I would expect. Not watched should be the highlighted (brighter) colour. Similar to the current default skin
- TV section doesn't seem to have the same theme. It has a different background colour

• Made the BG a bit more blue and a bit lighter (same applies to menu and dialog BGs
• Changed font sizes in RecentlyAdded items, MyVideo and RSS feed
• New colour scheme in list views for viewed/not viewed items
• Made the TV icon on BasicHome 20% bigger, so the TV/Video preview is also 20% bigger
