I've just updated that skin, and for some strange reason i can't change the view in the TV-Series Plugin. I'd like to have my series back in filmstrip view, but the settings don't seem to store.

Anybody else having this problem ?

Run Modify of the setup and choose Filmstrip, or edit 'TVSeries.SkinSettings.xml' in the skin directory.

Did you choose 'Filmstrip' initially on Install? If so, perhaps there is a bug in the installer not setting it but I swear I tested all possibilities

If you were trying to change it from TVSeries Configuration, it wont persist because SkinSettings are overriding it (import="true"). I will be updating TVSeries later to allow changing of layouts from with-in MediaPortal so this wont be a problem.

Just modified it into Filmstrip, using the installer, all is good now, so i assume it was a mistake on my side during install tnx for the tip!

Another tiny question about the Moving Pictures plugin setup.
'View only unwatched movies' needs to be clicked everytime you enter the plugin, is there a way to change it so it always shows only unwatched movies?

Both Styles, except 'List Banners' is not yet available for Fanart style. The Installation wont let you choose a combination that wont work...thats what its there for

Still some bugs not fixed from the previous version.

My Movies - In list view, the poster artwork upon first entering My Movies appears stretched vertically and is flat (2d.) It isn't until you click on a movie to display the more details page and then go back that all the posters are rendered in 3D and at the correct height.

Missing Plot Summary - When you hit the info button there is no plot summary (there is if you pause it.) It goes straight to the option of subtitles, video, audio, bookmarks.

TV Series Fanart - After going into the screen to select/download a fanart. Returning to a season view of a show has missing details. All that is displayed is the series poster, no plot details etc. (This is with the list posters view)

That's all I've noticed so far which were there in the previous release. I'll see if I find any more.

Oh and, since TV Series is now displayed much like My Movies, is there an option to add an artwork loading delay just like in My Movies? I have My Movies set to 500ms so I can scroll through my list of movies really quickly.

Request/Suggestion: Custom folder path for the menu animations, I like to use the fanart images as menu animations, so it makes sense to point directly to those folders rather than having to make a copy of all the images for another folder.

Another small bug I've found. While rotating banners for a tv series (using list poster view) sometimes after doing so it will jump to another series instead of returning to the one that was just changed. About 4 times out of 6 this will happen.

Also the play length bar, title, etc take longer to vanish compared to the background when you hit pause or show more info.

Besides that and my previously listed bugs, I'm yet to encounter much more. Keep up the awesome work guys

EDIT: Hmm looks like the file name, if it's long, can run into the plot details. Not a biggie, can fix that in the XML if I can be bothered.

Updated from previous version. TV Series stopped working. Can't even access the plugin configuration from the standard MP configuration.

What can I do not to redownload all the tv series info

Hi,

I am having a nightmare trying to download this skin. For some reason, the download just cuts out at random times, so I can't get the whole thing. I have tried three different browsers, and none of them are any better.

Is there any way this skin could be mirrored elsewhere? Maybe even in the MediaPortal repository?
