Updated from previous version. TV Series stopped working. Can't even access the plugin configuration from the standard MP configuration.

What can I do not to redownload all the tv series info

Can you attach your TVSeries Log and Error.log after trying to open Configuration?

If its not letting you open Configuration, there is probably something wrong with your database. You could try delete that.

Note: If you are using Vista with UAC enabled, then you will need to delete the db twice. Once in the normal programdata directory and the other in the VirtualStore

Hi,

I am having a nightmare trying to download this skin. For some reason, the download just cuts out at random times, so I can't get the whole thing. I have tried three different browsers, and none of them are any better.

I just re-downloaded it and it worked perfectly, at a very nice rate of about 270 kbps, had the whole thing in 3 or 4 minutes. Couldn't it be a problem at your side of things?

Is there any way this skin could be mirrored elsewhere? Maybe even in the MediaPortal repository?

Hi, try removing it from your Temporary Internet Files/Cache and re-try.

I'm on XP SP3. Yesterday I ended up uninstalling Streamed MP and reinstalling. Nothing changed. I uninstalled it, uninstalled Media Portal, it asked me if I wanted to do a complete uninstall, I answered no (I wanted to keep my TV Series and Moving Pictures data), I reinstalled MP and Streamed MP.

I had to redownload *all* the TV Series and Moving Pictures data. This was royally annoying, to be honest. There should be a way to preserve that data somehow.

Now everything works correctly. But this leaves me really cautious about installing future versions of the skin, I can't spend one hour everytime filling back in all the database stuff. Also, I lost all the watched/unwatched info for TV Series, that you have to do manually if you want it back.

And even if you uninstall mediaportal make sure you back up the database folder and the thumbs folder, then you can copy that back in case you need to uninstall mediaportal for some reason.

Use a downloads gestor. Try flashget, I could download the skin using it

Fan are disappears temporarily

Hi,

As others have said, great skin especially with the installer. What a great, simple way to manage everything!

No big deal, but when I first enter TVSeries (series view), everything is fine. Then when I go back up a level and again into series view (same series) the fan art is gone. If I simply go to another series, the fan art is back.

The stability of my MP 1.0 and streamedmp is somewhat suspect. I get more crashes than I ever did with Monochrome, but I really like the skin.

Still some bugs not fixed from the previous version.

My Movies - In list view, the poster artwork upon first entering My Movies appears stretched vertically and is flat (2d.) It isn't until you click on a movie to display the more details page and then go back that all the posters are rendered in 3D and at the correct height.

Missing Plot Summary - When you hit the info button there is no plot summary (there is if you pause it.) It goes straight to the option of subtitles, video, audio, bookmarks.

TV Series Fanart - After going into the screen to select/download a fanart. Returning to a season view of a show has missing details. All that is displayed is the series poster, no plot details etc. (This is with the list posters view)

That's all I've noticed so far which were there in the previous release. I'll see if I find any more.

Oh and, since TV Series is now displayed much like My Movies, is there an option to add an artwork loading delay just like in My Movies? I have My Movies set to 500ms so I can scroll through my list of movies really quickly.

Request/Suggestion: Custom folder path for the menu animations, I like to use the fanart images as menu animations, so it makes sense to point directly to those folders rather than having to make a copy of all the images for another folder.

Another small bug I've found. While rotating banners for a tv series (using list poster view) sometimes after doing so it will jump to another series instead of returning to the one that was just changed. About 4 times out of 6 this will happen.

Also the play length bar, title, etc take longer to vanish compared to the background when you hit pause or show more info.

Besides that and my previously listed bugs, I'm yet to encounter much more. Keep up the awesome work guys

EDIT: Hmm looks like the file name, if it's long, can run into the plot details. Not a biggie, can fix that in the XML if I can be bothered.

same bug for me in my movies

i can not change the pictures plugin background from the animations folder. Somehow it does not use the picture in animations folder (also the default installation picture does not work)

Any chance on non - TV-Server support?
With built-in TV Engine Font Sizes and Font Faces are wrong.
And the whole background looks strange?
Are there plans to add the support?
