Episodescanner is a great utility. I use nncron lite to launch it in the background at regular intervals.

I would like to use the tvserver plugin tvwishlist to selectively schedule particular episodes of a series in advance. To do this I would need the series/episode details from thetvdb to be in the tvserver database even though there is no schedule for the series in Mediaportal tvserver. Tvwishlist will scan the database each day for a match on the series/episode numbers and schedule a recording when a match is found.

My understanding of episodescanner is that it only updates the db for programs with a recording schedule.

Is there a way to add a series name to the config of episodescanner so episodescanner will update the db even though there are is no current recording schedule for the series?

I'm trying out your tool but can't seem to get it to scan thetvdb for series matches. If i set the german sites to 1 it searches them but never thetvdb. Haven't played with the rest of the config as it doesn't seem to relate to my problem.

I am experiencing the same problem after upgrading to the latest episodescanner. Same config was working ok on the previous version. Does not search thetvdb, checked with a packet sniffer and no traffic to the server from htpc. My log output is the same as lemonato.

Please try this one. It will NOT fix the bug but hopefully give me an idea where the problem is.
