Please try this one. It will NOT fix the bug but hopefully give me an idea where the problem is.

Sorry still no success, same result as before, and no additional debug info.

oh it was clear that it won't fix the bug. But it gave me some hints. Please try one in debug mode again. It should now def. print more stuff.

Ran the new test one, attached the log and config.

OK strange it seems the whole program doesn't read your config at all. All Options are empty. Could you please try to start from cmd line the run_debug.bat?

Ok log is the same but i noticed something that doesn't appear in the log. After the line Started version #svn249 is this:

Use of uninitialized value $use_tvdb in concatenation (.) or string at cavaexecscript/episodescanner.pl line 123

Yes this comes through the fact, that the config.txt isn't loaded at all. So all values in there aren't set. I only don't know why.

ah i'm too stupid ;-) just change the $use_tv_tdb to $use_tvdb and try again.

new version in 1st post with new config.sample ;-) which should work fine. Sorry guys.

LOL, that's funny as. I did notice the $use_tv_tb and thought that was the problem, but after looking at config files posted by other people earlier in this thread i figured it must be correct. I did change it to $use_tv_db but never thought to remove the _ .

It's running now and producing a massive output so i must assume it's working.
